Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man vs Dior Sauvage EDT
Club de Nuit Intense Man is best known as an Aventus dupe, but it's often compared with Sauvage too — probably because both are what a man buys when he wants 'something fresh and masculine'. In composition they're not close. CDNIM opens with pineapple, bergamot, lemon and blackcurrant, has birch in the heart that gives it its characteristic smoky edge, and amber, patchouli and musk underneath. Sauvage EDT is peppery and ambroxan-driven, so drier and more mineral. What they share is freshness, but not the way they get there.

CDNIM offers more for less money, and that's not in dispute — the fruity-smoky profile is full, long-lasting and has no real competition at this price. Sauvage is more restrained, more uniform and far more common; walk through any city centre and you'll smell it several times a day. That's both its strength and its weakness: it'll never be wrong, but it'll never be yours either. If you want a fragrance people around you will read as a safe choice, take Sauvage. If you want more character for less money and don't mind that CDNIM stands out more, the decision is clear.
Is Armaf CDNIM really a Dior Sauvage dupe?
Not directly. CDNIM is much closer to Creed Aventus — pineapple and birch are exactly what Aventus is known for. With Sauvage it shares only a general fresh-masculine direction, not the composition. Anyone expecting Sauvage in cheaper packaging will be disappointed.
Which is better for the office?
Sauvage, because it's more neutral and less noticeable. CDNIM has a smoky birch edge and greater reach, which is more present in an open-plan space. If you wear CDNIM to work anyway, stick to one spray.
Is it worth buying Dior Sauvage if I have CDNIM?
Only if it matters to you that a fragrance bothers nobody. Scent-wise, Sauvage won't give you anything CDNIM doesn't have — they're different enough not to duplicate each other, but similar enough in purpose that one isn't an upgrade of the other.
Is Armaf CDNIM really a Dior Sauvage dupe?
Not directly — CDNIM is more similar to Creed Aventus. It shares a fresh-masculine DNA with Dior Sauvage, but the profiles differ. Sauvage is more ambery and peppery, CDNIM more fruity and birchy.
