Lattafa Asad vs Azzaro The Most Wanted
A comparison where price and character go separate ways. Asad opens with pineapple, black pepper and tobacco, then reveals what it really is: patchouli, coffee and iris in the heart, vanilla with amber, labdanum and benzoin underneath — an unapologetic Arabian oriental. Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum is much simpler: ginger, woody notes, vanilla. One composition wants to be noticed, the other wants to be pleasant. And the difference in decant price is four euros.

At ten euros for a 5 ml decant, Asad is one of the biggest bargains in our range — you get real tobacco and coffee, not a hint of them. The price for that is dosing: one spray is often enough already, two are too much indoors. Azzaro is the opposite case — vanilla and ginger demand nothing and you can wear them without thinking. If you're looking for your first Arabian fragrance, take Asad. If you're looking for a fragrance you can wear to work without a second thought, Azzaro. They're not rivals but answers to two different questions.
Is Asad too intense for everyday wear?
For the office and enclosed spaces, as a rule yes — oud and leather are dense notes with big reach. For relaxed occasions, evenings and outdoors it's perfectly usable. The key is the dose: with Asad one spray is the starting point, not a compromise.
Which is better for dates?
It depends what impression you want to leave. Azzaro is safer and more pleasant; Asad will be noticed. If the person you're going out with is sensitive to strong scents, the choice isn't hard.
Is Lattafa a good brand?
Exceptional for the price. Asad offers a composition with tobacco, coffee and an ambery, resinous base at a price you won't find elsewhere. What Lattafa doesn't offer is development — pricier compositions change more over the day, while Asad stays pretty much where it opened.
Is Lattafa a good brand overall?
Yes — Lattafa is a well-known Arabian house with excellent value for money. Asad is one of their most recognisable.
