At 30% concentration, Gris Charnel Extrait brings out the intensity of the original and draws a richer, more layered version from it. Woody patchouli essence joins the composition and adds depth to the sandalwood and tonka bean, which feel more textured and warm. Sweet vanilla underlines it all with an ambery, smoky roundness. Up top, the freshness and liveliness of cardamom meet the softness of fig with green and fruity accents — a bright opening that lights up the lavish heart of the fragrance.

In the end, it would undoubtedly be Gris Charnel. Reworking a fragrance that has already found its audience is much harder than starting from a blank page.
