Imperium opens with bergamot and coriander, has a dense bouquet of white flowers with rose and saffron in the heart, while oud and guaiac stay underneath. Its leading accords include white florals, citrus and vanilla, so it comes across brighter and more powdery than the base would suggest. Besides oud, Halfeti has leather and cedar in the base and leather among its accords — and that's exactly the difference you hear. Halfeti is dry, rough and serious; Imperium soft and elegant.
