Spiritica Lynch vs Xerjoff Naxos
Both have tobacco among their main accords, and that's where the similarity ends. Naxos is a honeyed, soft tobacco that has become the reference for the whole category. Lynch is smoky styrax with cherry and myrrh — a fragrance that doesn't try to be pleasant. The difference in price per millilitre is two and a half times, because Lynch comes in fifty millilitres and costs €300.

Naxos is a tobacco you can recommend to anyone: honey, cinnamon and jasmine sambac in the heart, tobacco leaf with vanilla and tonka underneath, and lavender with lemon up top. It's sweet, warm and, according to community ratings, a strong projector. Lynch is the opposite decision — smoky styrax, myrrh and oud around the tobacco, with cherry and cake up top, which gives an unusual, almost cinematic contrast between the sweet opening and the dark middle. It's not an everyday fragrance and doesn't even try to be. The price underlines that: €6 per millilitre against €2.40, two and a half times as much, and €41 against €24 for five millilitres. If you don't know tobacco yet, start with Naxos. If you know it and the sweetness has started to bore you, Lynch is what you're looking for.
Why is Lynch so expensive?
Because it's an extrait in a 50 ml bottle for €300, which works out at €6 per millilitre — the highest among the fragrances we have with a price in our database. We won't guess the reason; all we can say is that at this price a decant is almost mandatory.
Which is better for a beginner?
Naxos, without reservation. Honey and vanilla make it readable even for people who otherwise don't like tobacco in fragrance. Lynch, with smoke, myrrh and oud, needs a nose that has already tried this direction.
Is Lynch really that smoky?
Among its main accords, smoky comes second and resinous sixth, with tobacco first. The cherry and cake up top don't cancel the smoke but set it in contrast — the first impression is sweet, the middle isn't.
Which one to wear in winter?
Both are winter fragrances. Naxos is better for social occasions because it's sweet and likeable; Lynch for evenings where a fragrance isn't decoration but a statement.
