How long does Ambre Nuit last?
According to the community, 5–8 hours. Projection is moderate; after a few hours it stays close to the skin.
Who created it?
François Demachy, Dior's in-house perfumer at the time. It was released in 2009.
Why is it so quiet?
Because it is built around ambergris, which smells soft and close to the skin. The low volume isn't a flaw, it's the point.
When to wear it?
In autumn and winter, in the evening or at work. Since it isn't loud, it bothers no one.
